Lauren and Brenden’s beautiful The Old Diary Maleny Wedding fell just in the right time of year to get married on the Sunshine Coast in early June. Cool enough to have an early ceremony with plenty of time to sip bubbles with guests after still warm enough that everyone isn’t completely freezing.
It was one of the those weddings where everyone was just so relaxed yet the vibe of celebrating was strong and it wasn’t long after the ceremony that the party really kicked off. I have to say, having an amazing celebrant to set the tone before the wedding ceremony even starts is such a huge factor to getting your guests in party mode. And Erin Woodhall has to be one of the best in the business for that! Her sense of quirky humor, her warmth and sincere deliver combined with her experience of being a education teacher to grab the attention of folks in the most delicate way allows a ceremony to be a journey of fun and laughter from start to finish.
The Old Dairy Maleny is a wedding venue location on the Sunshine Coast that is like no other. It has such a unique view point of the range out to the south west which allows for the most magnificent sunsets. It also seems to dodge the token Maleny misty weather most days being right on the Icebox road. But it’s the sprawling beautiful lush grounds, heritage style buildings and then an amazing rainforest to explore in which provides the most beautiful spots for photos – all whilst not having to leave the grounds. I’m sure I’ll blog more weddings from The Old Dairy Maleny as everyone is so beautiful and different and deserves showing off!
